New Delhi: Counting of assembly elections for five states is going on. Meanwhile, the Congress seems to be getting a big jolt from the southern state of Kerala. Of the 140 assembly seats here, a majority would require 71 seats. Of these, the Left-led LDF was leading in 95 seats. At the same time, Congress is leading in just 43 seats. While BJP and others are leading in one seat each.

However, except Tamil Nadu, the Congress sweep has been clear in the other three states as well. But according to political analysts, the party will be considered the biggest setback for Kerala. This is because there has been a trend of change of power in election-by-election in Kerala. In such a situation, there was a possibility that Kerala could give a big support to the sinking ship of Congress across the country.

Then former Congress president Rahul Gandhi is also an MP from Wayanad in Kerala. For this reason, he gave his maximum time to Kerala out of the five states. But despite this, the LDF-led LDF, once in government for five years, once again clearly seems to climb the stairs of power.

Let us know that Pinarayi Vijayan is the CPI (M) -led Left Democratic Front (LDF) government in Kerala. In the 2016 assembly elections, LDF-91 and Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) won 47 seats.

In Kerala too, elections were held on 6 April in a single phase. 73.58 per cent of the people in Kerala exercised their franchise. In all 140 assembly seats of the state, 2.74 crore people exercised their franchise. PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah rallied fiercely towards the BJP to take over the power of Kerala. At the same time, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi also worked hard as the main opposition party.
