Troms (DPA/TMN) – Hurtigruten offers a sea voyage between Bergen and Kirkenes with mail ships, promising an aurora. Since light shows are difficult to predict, the company offers the Northern Lights Promise.
If the lights are not seen during the journey, the participants will be invited for a second visit in the coming season. Guests can choose between a 6-day trip south from Kirkenes to Bergen or a 7-day trip from Bergen to Kirkenes.
Other tour operators also give such guarantees, but the terms are different.

A raised stand is being built at Verel in the district of Friesland to allow better viewing of the animals. On the beaches of the East Frisian islands, experts are helping to identify the plumes that have been found. Children can also participate in many activities like painting competition.
Legoland Gunzberg opens a new themed area
