Bayern Munich released Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic; Tuchel analyzes resignation

Bayern Munich this Sunday announced the sacking of club CEO Oliver Kahn as well as sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic after the end of the 2022-23 season.

The club’s president, Herbert Hainer, and Kahn’s successor as CEO, Jan-Christian Driessen, appeared jointly to the press this Sunday to explain the decision to remove the dome.

“Bayern still has people with football potential. Uli Hoeness is still on the supervisory board, now Karlheinz Rummenigge will return and above all we have Thomas Tuchel,” Driessen said.

“There is no right moment for such a decision. But after the last day the players went on leave and it was important for Hasan to say goodbye to the team in person. We spoke to him on Thursday. Things are working out with Hasan. Oliver was not that easy, did not accept the termination of the contract by mutual agreement. On Friday we decided to terminate it,” said Hainer.

Thomas Tuchel analyzes resignation at Bayern Munich

Former Bayern Munich player Didi Hamann gave her opinion on everything that is happening with the Bavarian team and especially Thomas Tuchel’s future as coach.

“When you treat people like that, you have to ask yourself: do you want to work at this club? I don’t think it is out of the question that he will stop being manager soon. He will leave of his own accord.” ,

Erik Meijer, a journalist for Sky Sports, commented: “I think he will be no longer from Monday.” The Tuchel story at Bayern could be coming to an abrupt end, and that would come as no surprise after the latest events at the club. The season hasn’t been a good one after infighting between the players, coaches and management.
