“We have a solid commitment to sustainability, according to the BBVA Group’s global mission, for this reason we will promote the development of projects that generate greater future opportunities for all,” he said.
In 2022, the bank financed 1,568 houses in sustainable conditions for a total amount of 2,992 million pesos, while for this 2023, it intends to continue to strengthen the value offered in this area, so that customers accompany in the transition to a more sustainable future. .
Eduardo Osuna highlighted that at the end of 2022 the green institution has given funding for 4 thousand 217 million pesos to people and 74 thousand 217 million pesos to companies.
While, on inclusion, that is, everything related to the investment of social infrastructure in the regions, such as health, education, culture, public works and products to banks and savings, the institution has been financed more than 12 thousand 31 million pesos each; in the category of companies 4 thousand 732 million and 27 thousand 257 million by bonds with figures up to the year.
“In 2023 we have a plan to continue advising our customers – individuals and companies – to prepare plans that allow them to achieve sustainable goals,” he said.

On the other hand, the director of the institution highlighted the growth they have with the “Neighborhood Bank” initiative, in which they support small and medium-sized companies (MiPymes), throughout the county in the development, bankarization and digital impact of their products.
