The last Test series between India and England took place in England in August 2021. The 5 test series was tied 2-2. The last series between the two in India took place in February 2021, this 4-Test series was won by India 3-1.

Why it matters: The Test series is very important for both teams from the World Test Championship point of view. At home, India lost the Test series against England by a margin of 1-2 in 2012. After Ben Stokes became the captain, the England team did not lose any series, so the series will be a big challenge for India.
