The government of Beni began a pilot phase of using ecological cement to waterproof and harden its roads, based on new technology brought by the Brazilian company Dutra Solo Forte.
Within this framework, Alejandro Unzueta, the governor of Beni, and Itamar Lima, the manager of the Enzibes Pavementación Ecológica, inaugurated work on a section of the Trinidad-Loreto highway (55 km), which is a pillar of communication between the cities in Cursado. . and Marban Province.
Initially, the free ecological asphalt will cover 900 square meters, with which the company intends to demonstrate that 100% sustainable paving and segment hardening for the environment and biodiversity.
Unzueta pointed out that ecological cement would cost less than traditional asphalt and would be useful in the case of Beni because its roads flood every rainy season, disrupting inter-provincial transport service.
Lima indicated that the company hardens all types of soil in a simple and fast way because its work is based on engineering studies, working on the fine particles of the soil, increasing its support capacity by reducing its expansion and suction.
They assure that they have been doing the same thing without potholed roads in Brazil for 13 years, despite the fact that they favor heavy motorized traffic and that this is the first time they have offered their product to the Beni government. Visited Bolivia for ,
According to its official portal, this technology has been used for years in Germany, Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Spain, India, Japan and the US.
