Bennett says Biden visit will reveal US moves to integrate Israel in Middle East

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on Tuesday welcomed the White House’s announcement of US President Joe Biden’s official visit next month, saying it would reveal US steps to integrate Israel in the Middle East.

Biden will visit Israel for the first time on July 13-14 for his presidency.

“President Biden’s visit to Israel will strengthen the special relationship and strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as strengthen the US commitment to the security and stability of Israel and the region,” Israel’s prime minister’s office said in a statement.

Biden to visit Saudi Arabia

After his visit to Israel, Biden will fly directly to Saudi Arabia for a visit on July 15-16.

Biden is scheduled to meet with Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
