Best of the West College Football Top 25: The Oregon Ducks look like Clemson, while the Pac-12 is starting to resemble the ACC. Not in a good way.

Good news for the Pac-12? Oregon might just be the new Clemson. less good? The rest of the convention is starting with the same seriousness as the ACC. Not in a good way.

The Ducks (3-0), a 48-7 winner over Stony Brook last weekend, remain unanimous No. 1 in the latest installment of The Denver Post’s Best of the West College Football Top 25.

But for the rest of the Pac-12, and for college football teams along the front range, Week 3 was a mixed bag. While after Clay Helton USC, Washington and Stanford all won the bigs, the circuit went 0–4 collectively, one-on-one, against the Big Ten (0–1, thanks to CU being stumped at home by Minnesota ), Big Sky (0–1, Northern Arizona with a win at Arizona) and Mountain West (Fresno State at UCLA, San Diego State at Utah).
