Biden nominates Cindy McCain for UN Food Program ambassadorship

The White House said President Joe Biden has nominated Cindy McCain as the US representative to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Agencies.

McCain, the widow of longtime Republican Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), has a decades-long relationship with Biden; He also supported the President during the 2020 election.
