In this hour of Corona crisis, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced to give Rs 5000 to the auto-taxis and ration of 2 months to the poor for free. CM Kejriwal has said that free ration and financial assistance to auto-rickshaw drivers will be given to the 72 lakh ration card holders of Delhi for two months.

This does not mean that the lockdown will last two months. The Delhi government will help all the auto and taxi drivers by giving them 5,000 rupees so that they can get some help during this financial crisis.
Arvind Kejriwal said in the press conference that the financially weaker section is destroyed by the lockdown. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the government to take care of them. He said that Delhi government will give two months free ration to 72 lakh ration card holders. According to the government, financial assistance of Rs 5,000 will benefit 1.65 lakh drivers in Delhi.
