Big push for bike lovers, off Bajaj Pulsar with 220cc engine

There is bad news for those who like Bajaj Pulsar. According to Zigwheels, the company has discontinued its popular bike Pulsar 220F. Launched in 2007, this bike received a lot of love from the customers. This is why its performance is always great in terms of sales. It gives the feeling of a sports bike at a low price. The company sold 4,106 units in September this year. Coming in a single variant, this bike is currently priced at Rs 1.34 lakh (ex-showroom).

The company’s flagship bike has dominated the market for 15 years. But now the company has decided to stop it. The company plans to replace the Pulsar 220F with the recently launched Pulsar N250 and F250. According to reports, Bajaj has stopped production of Pulsar 220F and its last batch is available in showrooms for sale.

Specification of Pulsar 220F
The bike is powered by a 220cc air / oil cooled, 2-valve single cylinder engine. The bike produces 20.1 bhp of power at 8500rpm and 18.55Nm of torque at 7000rpm. The mileage of this bike comes with 5-speed gearbox 40kmpl. The bike has a 5-step adjustable telescopic fork on the front and a Nitrox shock absorber on the rear.

Equipped with front and rear disc brakes, the company also offers this channel single channel ABS. Also, the bike has a semi-digital instrument console, LED DRL and twin beam projector headlamps to make the look even more spectacular.

Specification of Pulsar 250
The company is now offering Pulsar N250 and F250 instead of Pulsar 220F. The N250 is a street naked bike and the F250 is a semi-featured sports bike. The engine specification and running gear of both the bikes are the same. The Pulsar 250 is built into a tubular chassis, which makes it lighter than older models.

The bike has a 37mm telescopic fork at the front and mono-shock with nitrox at the rear. For braking, the bike has a 300mm disc at the front and a 230mm rotor at the rear. The company is offering 17-inch alloy wheels on both bikes.

Equipped with a 5-speed gearbox, the Pulsar 250 is powered by a 249.07cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. Coming with fuel injection technology, this engine offers 24.1bhp of power at 8,750rpm and 21.5Nm of peak torque at 6500rpm.
