Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has issued a statement in this regard that- Vaccination in the age group of 18-45 cannot be started at the scheduled time due to non-availability of vaccine.
Chief Minister of Goa Pramod Sawant has issued a statement in this regard saying that the vaccine has not yet been received for people between 18 and 45 years. We will start vaccination campaign as soon as we get the vaccine. The lockdown will not be extended, I urge people to stay home and cooperate with the government.
Of Uttarakhand Health Secretary Amit Negi has issued a statement saying that – yesterday the Central Government has given us an allocation of about 1,22,000 doses of Covishield Vaccine and 42,000 doses of Covaxine for people above the age of 18 years. It would be difficult to say the date of commencement of vaccination right now.
At the same time, Manoj Parida, Advisor to Chandigarh Administrator has given a statement in this regard that- Vaccination in the age group of 18 to 45 in Chandigarh will not start from May 1. Vaccination for the age group 18 and over will begin only after adequate supply of the vaccine.
