Bimi® Broccoli: Long Stem Single Broccoli
Although it is already well known in Germany, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, this new variety of vegetable aims to win over the hearts of the French. “It’s a novelty that goes beyond the brand. Bimi® is the name we’ve given to this little vegetable for the European market. It’s a simple name that suits it well, as in Japanese it means ‘ Delicious’, ‘Excellent’. In the UK, Bimi® is offered under the name Tenderstem®, meaning ‘tender stem’.”
It has been naturally developed using traditional plant breeding techniques to provide consumers with a delicious edible stem full of nutrients and flavour. It is a small vegetable known for its tenderness and delicate nutty flavour.”
