October 1 (WNN) — BJ Novak says he tried to explain late sopranos Star James Gandolfini to Join The Office.
The 42-year-old actor said in Thursday’s episode watch live what happens that he thought Gandolfini would be “incredible” The Office.

“He was shy and inquisitive,” Novak said of Gandolfini. “He’s my favorite actor of all time, so I thought it would be great.”
“To me, the Sopranos really had the biggest impact The Office, because the way the comedy and the drama and the characters were all completely indistinguishable,” he said. “I thought he would have been an incredible replacement. I really, really wanted to work with him.”
Nowak said he understood that Gandolfini wanted to be involved. The Office. He also said that the actor rejected his idea that he plays a white-collar character in the show.
