Who Was Maru Ocampo?
María Eugenia Ocampo Martínez was 43 years old, originally from Morelos and studied at the University of Puebla of the United States (UDLAP). He also completed a master’s degree in psychiatry at Ibero Puebla.
He had an office in San Andres Cholula to provide psychotherapy. That’s where he was last seen.
Last December 21 he spoke to his family for the last time; The next day he would travel to San Andres Calpan and then on to Morelos to spend Christmas with his family, but he never arrived.
On the night of January 3, a woman’s body was found in a ravine on the border of Puebla with Tlaxcala. Because of the clothes, it was being said that it could be Maru Ocampo.
According to the first reports, the body showed signs of violence, was half-naked and handcuffed, and blindfolded.
Neither the Tlaxcala nor the Puebla prosecutor’s office has ruled on this feminism. From friends, it is known that the black Nissan X-Trail truck with TRK785B license plates from the state of Puebla in which he was traveling has not been located.
