October 2 (WNN) — Local law enforcement has found what they believe is the body of Mia Marcano, an Orlando, Fla. The woman is reported missing.
Orange County Sheriff John Mina made the announcement at a news conference on Saturday, local10.com reported. Meena said that deputies found the body that morning in a wooded area of timber scan on the condominium lake.
While a medical examiner has not officially identified the body, Mina said she believed it was Marcano because the deputy found a purse with his identity and belongings.
Armando Manuel Caballero, identified as a man of interest in Marcano’s disappearance, was found dead in an apparent suicide last week in Seminole County. Earlier, Mina said that Marcano had turned down romantic advances from Caballero.
Marcano, 19, was reported missing after a flight failed for a family trip to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Her family revealed that Marcano’s room at the Arden Villa apartment in Orlando was littered with blood on a pillow, dirt on the floor, and jewelry. on the ground and his bed raw.
Caballero worked as a maintenance worker at the Arden Villa apartment and allegedly used a master key fob to enter Marcano’s apartment.
