An important contribution to the national holidays is the traditional bonus that a large proportion of employees receive. Help is guaranteed for pensioners and public sector employees. In the private sector, it will depend on the agreement between employees and employers.
There are just a few hours left until the country’s national holiday celebrations begin. Chile is paralyzed and the entire population celebrates for several days. To mark the occasion, September 18th and 19th fall on Monday and Tuesday, but the celebrations also include the previous weekend, which begins tomorrow.
Where can I check with my RUT whether I receive the holiday bonus?
All you have to do is go to the Chile Atiende website and register your RUT. The system automatically provides you with the information you need.
