The bonus is the main aid that a large part of the population receives in September. However, this is not the only contribution to households, as other services are also provided this month.
Guaranteed minimum income
This is a government bonus aimed at increasing the take-home pay of those who earn low salaries. Payment is made monthly and the August amount is already in the full payout phase.
The contribution amount is calculated based on a legally established mathematical formula. Therefore, it varies depending on the recipient’s salary. The lower the salary, the more money the recipient receives.
You will receive the first installment in the month after you submit your application. The money is currently being distributed to those who applied in August. You can check with your RUT and ClaveÚnica if you are a beneficiary by entering this link.
PGU
The payment of the PGU has a variable timing. It depends on the individual and the day of the month their pension deposit is allocated. To know the date you can access this link and type RUN.
The PGU will be delivered in 2023 with the new value being $206,173. This amount will be given to those who receive a pension of up to $702,101. Beneficiaries earning a higher amount, up to $1,114,446 per month, will receive a prorated contribution.
