Aaron Paul, the actor known worldwide for his role as Jesse Pinkman in the hit series “Breaking Bad”, stated that he would not receive any royalties for the broadcast of the episodes on the streaming platform Netflix, thereby exacerbating the conflict instigated by the authors and actors in Hollywood more than 100 days ago.
Bryan Cranston, Jesse Plemons, Krysten Ritter, Giancarlo Esposito and Bob Odenkirk are some of the celebrities that made up the cast of Breaking Bad together with Paul. The multi-award-winning series lasted five seasons and aired between 2008 and 2013.

In this context, the Screen Actors Guild has a lot to do, but this time not for the best reasons. Three months after the start of the writers’ and actors’ strike that paralyzed Hollywood and reignited the conflict with streaming platforms, Aaron Paul attended the strike and mobilization days in Los Angeles and revealed that Netflix is not paying him to air the series.
“To be completely honest, I can’t get Netflix to release Breaking Bad.” said the Emmy-winning actor “Entertainment Tonight Canada” last week. “And that’s crazy to me.” he added.

Paul joined other cast members of the hit crime drama on the SAG-AFTRA and WGA picket lines on August 29th. along with Bryan Cranston and Jesse Plemons, striking outside Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, the studio behind “Breaking Bad.”
After 100 days of strike, the fighting measures are already showing their consequences: dozens of productions have postponed their premieres, and a viable agreement with the production companies and major Hollywood studios still does not seem to be in sight.
