The Military Communal Brigades for Education and Health (Bricomiles) have rehabilitated 104 schools in the 14 municipalities of Yaracuy, as confirmed this Monday by officials in the unit.
104 Educational Institutions Served
Mariam Gonzalez, State Coordinator of the Ministry of Education’s Educational Missions and Attached Institutions, explained that the unit has established 727 Bricomiles, one for each institution that is part of the educational system in the state.
He said that out of 104 schools and high schools that were fully restored this year, 57 were rehabilitated with material contributions from the Ministries of Education and Commerce, with technical support from the Foundation for Educational Buildings and Endowments (FEDs) and 47 Went. Direct functions of the governorship and mayors.
Commonly performed works on school premises include waterproofing and roofing replacement, bathroom repairs, electrical maintenance, tree pruning, general painting, weeding of green areas, dustbins, etc.
Gonzalez explained that the plan aims to recover school spaces to provide students and educational staff with a cleaner and more pleasant environment that facilitates the teaching and learning process.

“The constant maintenance and protection of our spaces is the key to keeping the institution beautiful and enjoyable, and this is what we are instilling in our students, so that they become guards and take care of their premises,” Marchena meant.
