Now what The Wonders has been released, and that the Hollywood strikes are over, Brie Larson talking about his future Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is true that the sequel did not have much success at the box office, but that does not stop Marvel Studios, because it seems that the next appearance of the character is already in development.
Denying rumors that she didn’t want to continue in the role, Larson revealed to Entertainment Tonight that, although she hasn’t said anything, her return is definitely on the table.
I don’t want Marvel to come after me, but there is one thing. There is something, to answer your question, something I want to say, but I won’t.
Unless there’s an unexpected cameo in one of the next announced products, it’s likely that Captain Marvel’s next appearance will be in one of the two upcoming Avengers films. It is currently unknown if there is any intention to make a third Carol Danvers film.
Apart from this, Larson also talked about revealing different parts of Carol’s personality in The Wonders something that was exciting for him because he had never done it before in the franchise.
I think there is more to Carol. I feel like being on this team has forced him to open up in a way he hasn’t before and I really love that for him.
I like that he can relax a little on his shoulders, and that he doesn’t have to feel like all the responsibility is on him. So I think there is a lot to do. He is a great character who will continue to grow. It’s like I grew up while he grew up.
