Volkswagen recently launched its new SUV Taigun in India. The starting price of this SUV is Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom). At the same time, its top model is priced at Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Customers will be able to subscribe to this SUV for 24, 36 and 48 months. At the time of subscription, the company is also providing customers with benefits like periodic maintenance, 100% on-road financing and insurance cover. After the lease expires, customers will have the option to upgrade or refund the SUV. The number plates of SUVs taken under the subscription scheme will also remain white like vehicles owned by private owners.
The scheme is available at 30 outlets of the company.
The company’s special scheme has been live since October 1. Volkswagen is offering the scheme across 30 VW outlets in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai. This position is part of the first phase of the company’s subscription policy. In the coming days, the company plans to roll out the scheme in more cities.

Taigun is equipped with strong power and excellent transmission
VW is offering Taigun in vibration dynamics and performance lines. Under the dynamic line, there are three forms – Comfortline, Highline and Topline. Whereas, the performance line includes GT and GT Plus variants. The dynamic line is powered by a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder TSI turbo petrol engine. This engine comes with 178Nm of peak torque and 114bhp of power.

On the dynamic line, you’ll find the option of a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The GT line, on the other hand, is powered by a 1.5-liter TSI turbo petrol engine that produces 148bhp and 250Nm of torque. This gives you the option of a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
