A police officer from the Wiltshire Police Department has been immediately dismissed from all his duties for making fun of a co-worker’s ‘penis size’ and shouting ‘this is small’.
Officer Adam Reeds was dismissed without notice from the Wiltshire Police Department for sexual misconduct with a new colleague of his, after a five-day trial.
Reeds, in his lawsuit, agreed that he intentionally unbuttoned the victim’s trousers and put his hand in, approached his penis and shouted ‘small’ and joked about the new guy in front of other colleagues at the police station itself. flew. He argued during the trial, that it was all part of a ‘joke’ which leads to his dismissal.
The incident happened in November 2021 at Davies Police Station, when the victim was just a new joiner in the police department and Reid tried to bully her, later reporting the gruesome incident to a senior officer.
The court immediately removed Reid from all his duties, as such inappropriate behavior cannot be tolerated, and the decision does not allow Reid to serve for a police department anywhere in the UK.
According to multiple media outlets, Wiltshire Police Deputy Chief Constable Paul Mills said in a statement, “Former Police Constable Adam Reid’s actions were not only wholly inappropriate, but they also violated his colleague’s dignity and, critically, Problem.”
“His actions were tantamount to unwanted sexual conduct and the LQC’s decision to dismiss Adam Reid from Wiltshire Police is fully supported,” Mills said.
“He will now be placed on the national banned list, which will ensure that he is not able to work in policing in future,” he added.
The identity of the victim has not been disclosed.
