After a year’s break, the prestigious district derby between Borussia Dortmund and FC Schalke 04 is finally back on the schedule for the upcoming 7th match of the Bundesliga. The duel between the two arch rivals at Signal Iduna Park will begin at 3:30 pm, Sky broadcast live.

After a poor showing at Leipzig last weekend, there was a huge fear that BVB Manchester City would experience a blue miracle in the Champions League. One of the hopes of a duel with BVB is Sebastian Poulter, at least on paper. At Schalke, Tobias Mohr will probably move up a spot and make room for Thomas Auwegen. Henning Matriciani is likely to resume at right back, as Marcin Kaminski (torn calf) and regular right-back Cedric Brunner are also still absent. Otherwise we expect the S04 to remain unchanged.

After a direct resurgence of FC Schalke 04, all Bundesliga fans can finally look forward to the hard-fought district derby between black and yellow and royal blue.
