At the same time, Quebec Public Security Minister François Bonnardel said that the bus driver has been arrested.
In pictures broadcast on television, the bus could be seen stuck in a part of the establishment.
A portion of the building’s roof fell on the front of the bus.
“I helped control the driver who got off the bus,” a parent told Radio Canada before breaking down in tears.
According to his wife, the man was “half-naked” and witnesses saw him “deliberately throwing himself into the nursery.”
Now, the police is probing whether the act was intentional.
