The increase in tuition to study at the campuses of the California State University system was approved after a vote within the Board of Directors.
The 6% tuition cost increase will be applicable to all CSU students beginning in the 2024-2025 school year.
How Much Will California State University Tuition Increase?
The increase approved by the Board of Directors of the California State University system is annual and will be applied annually for the next 5 years.
Beginning in the 2024-2025 school year, students will have to pay an increase of $342.
At the end of five scheduled annual increases, students in the California State University system will pay $1,940 more in tuition, compared to what they paid in September 2023.
