  • If you have an illness or infection, no matter how temporary you are, do not self-medicate.
  • Maintain a healthy weight.
  • Attend frequent antenatal check-ups.
  • Do not hesitate to visit a medical center if you have fever, vaginal bleeding or abdominal cramps.
