how was the crime?

The incidents took place last December. There were a total of eight teenage girls between the ages of 13 and 16 who may have stabbed a man at dawn in a square near the main train station in downtown Toronto.

In a group of eight youths, three are 13 years old, three are 14 and two are 16 years old. Residents of the city of Toronto, the country’s most populous and where the incidents took place, still wonder how such a brutal crime could be committed by someone so young.

The man may have been attacked by this group of teenagers after he tried to stop the girls from stealing a bottle of liquor from another person who was with them.

According to the police report, passers-by may have called the officers in response to the incident, which was also shocking, as the young women harassed several people present at the scene.

Police identify the attack as a “herd attack”, noting that there were eight people who committed the act together.

The teenagers were initially arrested after questioning several witnesses present at the scene. The weapons used in the attack have been recovered from the spot.

unknown identity

The family of a man who lost his life has voiced opposition to the restrictions imposed by Canada’s Juvenile Criminal Justice Act, as none of the eight young women charged have been traced.

According to British newspaper GuardianThe family said in a statement – that it was impossible to protect themselves from the person who committed the crime, if it was not possible to know who they were: “If we don’t know who these criminals are and why they are being released on bail, how will the law protect the public?”Lee’s family said in a statement.

In addition, Lee’s family has strongly opposed the opportunity for bail to be given to the young women, the alleged perpetrators: “For serious crimes, these criminals should have no right to privacy or bail.”

The man was identified weeks after what happened on Tuesday, January 10th. The victim’s name was Ken Lee and he was 59 years old.

All the girls are charged with second degree murder. According to officials, all of them might have played a role in the timing of the incidents. “There were eight together. All eight were involved.” Terry Brown of the Canadian Police told a few weeks ago CBC Canada.

Brown said, “I won’t say what each did individually, but all eight of them were together and participating in this event, which is disturbing.”
