Canada has become one of the most popular destinations for people to immigrate and seek various opportunities, both in terms of employment, education and quality of life. The country receives immigrants of various nationalities, and residents of Latin American countries began to move there more often.
Taking advantage of this situation, many companies in the country have opted to launch various job offers and employ expatriates. In addition, some of these offer specific vacancies for people who speak specific languages. In the case of Spanish speakers, major Canadian companies have various vacancies.
The main requirement is that the applicant speak Spanish, which is a clear advantage that immigrants from Latin American countries may have over others who have it as a second language.
Vacancies in Canadian companies
Recently, two important companies started their vacancies for Spanish speaking people, one of them belongs to the Government of Canada, and the other one is the most important airline of the country. Salaries range between $84,000 and $102,000 per year.
These are the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and the airline Air Canada. Among them, CSIS’s requirements are more stringent.
The main requirement for both vacancies is to speak Spanish at the local level. However, in the case of the CSIS offer, you must also speak and understand French and English, the national languages of Canada.
Added to this, candidates who meet the requirements such as knowing other languages, such as: Farsi, Mandarin, Kurdish, Russian, Hindi, Bengali, Arabic, and Somali, may be of further advantage for the CSIS Language Communication Analyst position.
In addition, having two years of experience in the areas of research, analysis, and report writing, as well as knowledge of databases, communication tools, and social networks is another plus.
