This was stated by the Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa when checking the location of the collapse of the slide at Kenpark Surabaya on Sunday, May 8, 2022. “There is a broken cycle, I asked Mr. Paul, the GM of Kenpark and the water park, what is the calibration process. WhiteWater Canada is a company that designs and builds water slides, including at Kenpark Surabaya. Because investigations and information from the builder are needed to find out exactly what caused the slide to collapse.
On the other hand, Tanjung Perak Port Resort Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Anton Elfrino Trisanto said that the investigation into the case was still ongoing. Five witnesses have been questioned. “We also complete other evidence,” he told reporters.
