To the officers, JDC admitted that he did not know that Mount Batur was a sacred place in Bali. He also admitted that he had no intention of harassing the sacred area.

“The person concerned admitted that he did not mean to disrespect Balinese culture, because the motive involved in making the video was only to express by dancing the Haka dance from New Zealand,” he explained.

From the results of the examination of the perpetrator, it was proven that he had committed a violation. So that he will be given immigration administrative action in the form of deportation and put his name on the banned list as referred to in Article 75 paragraph (1) of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration.
