Ebrard announced this Monday a tour across the country and, at the same time, was sued Morena to address their complaints about the alleged irregularities and intervention of the authorities in the internal process in which they won Claudia Sheinbaum to be the next presidential candidate if he does not resign from the Guinda party ranks.
Although Ebrard sued the Morena Honesty and Justice Commission responding to the challenge of the process, part of his message this Monday clashed with the provisions of the laws of the party that obtained its registration before the National Electoral Institute (INE) on July 9, 2014 and where Marcelo only joined last July.

“Membership (of Morena) shall be individual, personal, free, peaceful and voluntary, without corporation of any kind; without allowing factions, currents or groups that violate the party’s sovereignty, that is, its exclusive capacity for general direction.
Morena prohibits in its laws the existence of actions, currents or groups that violate the sovereignty of the party in the face of the experience of the tribes that undermine the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD), from which Marcelo Ebrard, Claudia Sheinbaum and the President come. Andrés himself came. Manuel López Obrador, who was his presidential candidate twice.
The “tribes” as they are known are the groups that formed within Sol Azteca and that created the divisions that eventually dissolved this political force that is now allied with the National Action (PAN) and the Institutional Revolutionary ( PRI) parties.
Ebrard himself stated this afternoon that this “national political movement” will try to “formalize what we have united during this process” of impeachment. In other words, he pointed out, “those who are willing to continue this process should not inform us on September 18.”
“I will go around the country to meet again with those who supported us, supported us, followed us, voted for us.” The purpose is to “explain to them what I am talking about now, inform them and, finally, finish in mid-October,” he detailed in relation to this movement, and a few hours after Claudia Sheinbaum, the winner of internal survey. and the current National Coordinator of The Committees in Defense of the Fourth Transformation announced a similar route.
On Thursday, even before the results of the survey to choose the presidential candidate of the ruling party were announced, Marcelo Ebrard and his team broke with Morena, criticizing a process full of irregularities and biases. Of the six contenders, the former chancellor is the only one who claims these situations, the others: Adán Augusto López Hernández, Gerardo Fernández Noroña, Manuel Velasco and Ricardo Monreal recognized the victory of Claudia Sheinbaum.
In fact, just this Sunday evening, Marcelo Ebrard filed an appeal before the National Commission of Honesty and Justice of Morena to demand the annulment and subsequent reinstatement of the internal process for the appointment of the Coordination of Defense of the Transformation . It is late, he added that he will turn to the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (TEPJF) if the Commission does not respond well to his complaints.
That resource, according to Ebrard, will define his permanence in Morena, as he has begun to mobilize his base even if that means going against the rules he asks to be respected.
