Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion Share Three BET Hip Hop Awards For ‘WAP’

6th October (WNN) — Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion won three BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta on Tuesday night.

Their duet, “WAP,” was nominated for Song of the Year, Best Hip Hop Video, and Best Collaboration.

Tyler walks home with trophies for Hip Hop Album of the Year for The Creator call me if you get lost and Best Live Performer, as well as the Rock the Bells Cultural Influence Award.

Lil Baby earned the title of Hip Hop Artist of the Year and shared the Best Duo or Group honor with Lil Dirk.

Nelly was presented with the I Am Hip Hop Award and performed a medley of her biggest hits, including “Country Grammar,” “Hot in Herre,” “Air Force Ones,” “Dilemma” and “Grillz.”

Jay Z won the Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse and Impact Track awards for his Nipsey Hustle collaboration, “What It Feels Like”.

Yung Bleu was named Best New Hip Hop Artist and Sowety was named Hustler of the Year.

Missy Elliot won the Video Director of the Year statuette and Songwriter of the Year honors J. Cole got it.

British rapper Little Simz won the award for Best International Flow.

Comedians Carlos Miller, DC Young Fly and Chico Bean – known collectively as 85 South – hosted the ceremony from The Cobb Energy Center.
