Star Wars fans are in full celebration from May 4th. This 2023 the day was even more special because the iconic Carrie Fisher will receive her posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
More than six years after her death, Fischer is remembered in the annals of popular culture for her role as Princess Leia Organa in the original Star Wars trilogy, as well as the sequels that were released from 2017.
The star delivery ceremony took place on May 4, Star Wars Day, and the actress’ brothers were not invited to the momentous event.
Their daughter, actress Billie Lourd, explained in a statement to Variety why Todd, Jolie and Tricia Leigh Fischer weren’t invited after Todd Fischer told TMZ how “heartbreaking” and shocking it was that their honoree I was to be excluded from this program. His sister
