Amid the controversy, the current Me Late panelist broke the silence with a special message in the middle of her Instagram account, where she left a greeting for her followers in the middle of the national holiday.
«Have a nice holiday. For years they ruined my birthdays, Christmases and special dates. Cathy Barriga began her remarks.
“I am sure that a moment of peace and justice will come and all the bad times towards me and my family, all the hatred will return to where it originated.” the former mayor of Maipú added unfiltered.

As La Tercera reports, this reason is one of three reasons for which the “Me Late Estelar” panelist is under investigation after irregularities were discovered during her term as mayor.
The first formalization is made by the Prosecutor of the West, José Solís, and refers to the complaint filed by Tomás Vodanovic (RD), the current mayor of Maipú.
The ex-edile would be accused of a possible sham contract to pay for services not provided to a journalist during her term of office. The communicator also filed a complaint along with other former officials.
