A commuter train in Toronto, Canada recently collided with a car that drove around a barrier and stalled on the tracks in mid-May. Metrolinx, an Ontario government agency that manages roads and public transportation, released a video “to raise awareness of safety at level crossings” a month after the incident.
A clip provided by Storyful shows the driver approaching a rail crossing as the barrier lowers to indicate a train is approaching. Then motorists slowly drive around the barrier on the tracks, and seconds later, the train crashes into the SUV. A picture of the damaged vehicle is also shown at the end of the video.

Metrolinx informed the driver of the SUV that he left the scene without any serious injuries. He will face charges for negligent acts.

The government agency further said that every year 100 Canadians are seriously injured or killed at level crossings. “Everyone needs to be alert at level crossings and remember that trains move fast and can show up at any time.” Metrolinux chief security officer Martin Gallagher said.
Meanwhile, in another shocking incident, a speeding police chase ended in an accident in which the suspect’s car flipped four times before landing on the roof. A video shared on social media shows a black car at the corner of the frame of a security camera, speeding towards the neighbourhood.

The driver loses control for a moment and that is when the vehicle overturns while trying to avoid a head-on collision with an oncoming vehicle. The video shows the black sedan slipping and dragging on the road before stopping right in front of the house where the security camera was installed. Internet users are shocked by this incident.
