Class action lawsuits against Celsius
08/02/2022 – Several class action lawsuits have already been filed against Celsius Network, a crypto lending company in the United States. American law firm Bruger Eagle & Square, PC is representing clients who have purchased Celsius securities. The lawsuit alleges that Celsius Network violated US securities laws to mislead retail investors. In addition, the prices of Celsius financial products have been artificially inflated. The lawsuit alleges claims by the company’s shareholders. Another class action lawsuit was filed accusing Celsius of selling unregistered securities using a Ponzi scheme. A third class action lawsuit filed by YouTuber and affected BitBoy addresses the legality of the June 12, 2022 account freeze.

In August, the first hearing in Celsius’ Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings will take place in bankruptcy court in New York.
