Armed members killed the delegate of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) of Mexico in Guerrero on Tuesday, Fernando Garcia Fernandez in a new reality that shows the wave of violence of organized crime in that state.

Last August 10, the Tierra Caliente regional prosecutor of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) was killed. Victor Manuel Salas Cuadras who, according to the federal government, suffered an attack because of his actions against the criminal group La Familia Michoacana.
Earlier, on August 6, an armed group killed three municipal police officers of Juan R. Escudero and the Secretary of Security of that town, Juan Carlos Vitrago.
Guerrero ranks seventh in the country in the number of homicides, with 800 murders in the first half of 2023, according to Mexico’s Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC).
