Chronicle of the demonstration “against the suffocating rise in prices and the loss of purchasing power” in Barcelona – Information third

On Saturday, the 11th of March, there was a great demonstration of more than thirty thousand people, in Barcelona with a route that penetrated the points in the city: it goes out of the government sub-embassy, ​​down the street Laietana and passing through the headquarters. The promotion of the employers’ association del Treball, Plaza Sant Jaume with the Generalitat and the Barcelona City Council and in the park of the three chimneys on the Avenida del Paralel (where the “Canadian” was once located, whose conflict was struck in 1919. was led to obtain an 8-hour work day).

He also went before the traitor unions to the working class, CCOO and UGT.

The demonstration took place with a funny but above all vindictive with the parliaments before the previous points where the intervention denouncing the situation of certain precarious things and now in competition (Hospitality and commerce, Telemarketing, ERE in the pharmaceutical company Grífols, c. the culture sector, the cash sector, the forgotten staff of covids in the region cleaning, tithing health, education and public administration)

The CGT, like the anarcho-syndicalists, defends that there is strength in unity and that we must solve the problems through direct action and personal involvement. The solution is to go out by ourselves and not delegate to a political class sold to capitalism.

This call to take to the streets, to move, to disagree with the current situation is more justified. We do not understand those who, hiding behind a permanent social dialogue, consecrate that the rich are getting richer and the poor getting poorer, agreeing to poverty agreements and exercising us with the idea that there is a crisis, when what is the concentration of wealth in a few hands

The CGT is being fought in each society, in each province, wherever we have a presence to reverse this situation and end the economic liberalism with impunity based on predation and competition. In contrast to solidarity and mutual support, the flags of the labor movement were not abandoned when they were strong.

This is why the CGT will continue to take to the streets, because we have had enough of our poor salaries, living conditions and loss of quality of life.
