The city of Amarillo released an image showing a shaggy look lurking in the dark.
Texas:
Security cameras at Texas’s Amarillo Zoo caught a mysterious man in what appears to be shaggy form, prompting the city to ask for help identifying a creature.
The video provided by the zoo’s security camera went viral after he tweeted asking for help in identifying the figure.
Last week, the city of Amarillo released an image showing a seemingly shaggy look in the dark outside the perimeter fence of the Amarillo Zoo.
Zoo officials were alerted after a motion-activated camera took the photo at 1:25 am on May 21.
“The Amarillo Zoo captured a strange image outside the zoo in the dark and early morning hours of May 21 (around 1:25 p.m.). Is this a strange hat person who likes to walk at night? A chupacabra? Do you have any idea what this UAO- Unidentified Amarillo Object could be?” The city of Amarillo tweeted on June 9.
In Latin American popular legend, the chupacabra is a demonic creature that attacks animals and eats their blood. The name is derived from the Spanish words chupar (“sucker”) and cabra (“goat”) and can be translated as “goat-sucker”.
The silhouette of the object is unrecognizable, although what appears to be two long legs seem to support it from below.
“Was it a strange hated man who likes to walk at night? A big coyote on his hind legs? A chupacabra? It’s a mystery—to help solve Amarillo,” Sarkar lightly said. I told Fox News.
Chupacabras were first reported in 1995 in Puerto Rico, where they were blamed for attacks on goats, sheep and other domestic animals, believed to have left bloodied carcasses.
Early reports described him as a creature that stood upright and resembled a large reptilian kangaroo.
The clip, captured by the camera, has triggered a heated debate online.
Weird, silly and serious theories range from Bigfoot, Sonic the Hedgehog, to Jumping Coyote.
After clips from the Amarillo Zoo went viral, the San Antonio Zoo in Texas released footage of a mysterious individual and sought the public’s help in identifying the strange creature.
The zoo’s official Instagram page read: “Zoo security cameras have spotted a mysterious man roaming Brackenridge Park. We are seeking the public’s help to identify this strange creature.”
Thousands of people have taunted on social media.
