Residents of the San Bonifacio School District in Vergel Sector have raised their voices as chaotic traffic jams constantly form in the area during student dismissal times. This situation has caused great concern and inconvenience among people living near the educational institution.
The traffic jams are so intense that some residents have expressed frustration trying to get home after a long day at work. A resident of Altos del Bergen shared her experience and pointed out that the old entrance to the Vergel is blocked by a large number of vehicles that travel from there to near the school. This traffic jam even spreads to the road leading to the local church, practically blocking the entire sector.
The problem becomes even worse during lunch break, as residents of the area are forced to avoid returning home due to long traffic jams that last more than half an hour. This means many people are unable to enjoy their lunch at home because they cannot cope with the traffic chaos caused by school closures.
The situation has also raised safety concerns as there have been reports in the past of the arrival of an ambulance which unfortunately was unable to reach the area due to traffic jams. These incidents can have serious consequences in emergency situations and highlight the urgency of addressing this traffic problem in the region.
Residents hope authorities will take action to address this issue and ease congestion in the area during school holiday periods. The citizen complaint reflects the need to find effective solutions to ensure the mobility and safety of people living in this area of Vergel.
