Citizens and merchants highlighted that such activities, in addition to stimulating the local economy, present the benefits of Nuevo Laredo as a destination for tourists.
Paula Gramer Valina, a businesswoman, stressed the importance of this type of event to promote the city and reactivate the historic center of Nuevo Laredo.
“We have many things to do in the center, we have activities in the small market and square, among other things; Thanks to the leadership of the mayor who organized these activities, it is being reactivated and people know everything about it”, he expressed.
While Hiram Fernandez, assistant, recognized this initiative of the city government to publicize some of the activities that can be experienced in Nuevo Laredo.
“This event promotes the integration of all citizens, here we can showcase all the advantages of Nuevo Laredo and it is important for foreigners to come and consume from our municipality,” he said.
On her part, Lily Martínez, participant, thanked the municipal government for taking advantage of public spaces and providing a quality program suitable for all audiences and with a great variety of activities.
“As a citizen, one feels happy for these types of events because they are more options to go out to have fun and be together, they are family events and many things allow healthy co- exist,” he repeated.
Attendees also learned about the various local travel agencies as well as lodging options in the city and the great gastronomic variety that Nuevo Laredo offers.
