Citizens will be able to get their street paved by paying only 25 percent

Juarez City.- Through a statement, the municipality announced that citizens who are interested in building their own road can do so by paying only 25 per cent of the actual cost.

Estrada de la Torre, general manager of the Additional Municipal Urbanization System (SUMA), said that in view of the high request from residents who want to pave with hydraulic concrete in the area where they live, SUMA will implement a pilot program where the beneficiaries will be Cover only a quarter of the total investment cost.

Neighbors who decide to adopt this program will have a period of not more than 9 months to cover the portion that suits them and once their cooperation is complete, they can start paving immediately. Let’s give

Those who avail of this benefit should know that once their area is paved, the value of their house increases, it said.

Estrada announced that with the 40-60 program implemented last year, participatory actions were taken where the benefited residents contributed 40% of the total cost of paving their houses and the rest was covered by the government.

This made it possible to pave and mainly rehabilitate 68,000 square meters last year.

He said that this year 40-60 will be reimplemented in the program to houses that need rehabilitation or overlaying; While those who want to build pavement for the first time, they will cover only 25% of the total expenditure.

He indicated that there are 17 other projects lined up in Suma for this year, three of which are within subdivisions and require overlaying, while the rest are for road paving.

If done, an intervention of 49,000 square meters will be carried out at a cost of about 25 million pesos.

These benefits started from today and ends on 31st December, thus the houses which require overlaying and rehabilitation will enter the 40-60 scheme i.e. the beneficiaries will get a total relaxation of 60%, while where it is required Hai’s new flooring will enter the 25-75 program.
