Hip-hop duo’s “Pussy Talk” collaborator Doja Cat may have taken home the coveted award Sunday night, but all eyes were on JT and his unfortunate accident on stage.
JT quickly became a trending topic on Twitter as fans started sharing pictures of her.
The Miami rapper, who initially didn’t know how much he revealed, attempted to shut down the incident, tweeting: “I have black panties RELAX.”
But when JT met Megan Thee Stallion shortly after, she realized she showed off more than just her shiny metallic dress on stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
The rapping duo recently spoke with Speedy Norman for Complex’s 360 series to find out what happened last night, why she accidentally took off her underwear and how Megan became the first person to deliver the embarrassing news to JT.
“We walked over to our stage and the first person we saw was Megan and she was like, ‘Girl, your whole p***y was out! JT tells Norman. “And I’m like, ‘Huh?’ Because I had no clue.”
She said that Megan tried to signal to her when she was on stage, but the starlet never looked down.
JT said that at first she thought only Megan had noticed the traumatic event.
,[Megan] Saw it and I brushed it off a bit. Then I went to my seat and I checked my phone, and I saw her,” JT continued, referring to the revealing photos of her being shared on social media.
Despite public miscommunication, the “Twerk” artist was in good spirits cracking jokes with his counterpart, Yung Miami, and pointed to his indifferent reaction to the dastardly incident of his right hand.
“I told Carasha (Yung Miami), ‘It’s so embarrassing.’ He hit me with something like, ‘Oh this is it.'” JT said with a laugh. ,Don’t tell him any of your problems! Because she’s the type of person who will make it worse.”
