The largest teacher recruitment campaign has been conducted in Assam so far. State Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and State Education Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma flagged off this comprehensive teacher recruitment process. Appointment letters were distributed to about thirty thousand teachers under this process.
Chief Minister Sonowal distributed appointment letters to 29,701 teachers during the ceremony held at Soruszai Stadium in Guwahati. Chief Minister Sonowal also tweeted this recruitment process.

He wrote in his tweet, “We keep our promises. 4260 schools have been governmentized and 29,701 teachers have been appointed. This is the largest teacher recruitment drive of the government so far. This shows our dedication to the public. I believe that these recruitment will further the vision of this meaningful profession. ”
After this, the Education Minister of Assam also tweeted about the teacher recruitment process.

Talking to the media, the Education Minister said that almost all vacancies in the Education Department under this campaign Appointment to posts Has been completed. In the last 5 years, the state government has appointed 71,000 teachers.
According to reports 16,484 teachers who were already employed in educational institutions have been given regular tax appointment letters. Apart from this, appointment letters have been given to 13, 217 new teachers. It includes teachers from primary to higher secondary level.
