College Football Schedule, Games 2022: What to Watch in Week 3, TV Channels, Saturday Kickoff Timings

The third week of the 2022 college football season is well underway, and Saturday has more than a few compelling matchups that headline what could be another wild week of action for fans. On CBS, No. 22 Penn State will become the first Big Ten team to play Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium when the two meet on Saturday afternoon. This Big Ten vs. SEC showdown sees the Tigers looking for revenge at home after their 28-20 loss to the Nittany Lions at Happy Valley last season.

Elsewhere, No. 6 Oklahoma would rekindle its rivalry with Nebraska and No. 13 would go on to take on No. 24 Texas A&M in Miami College Station, Texas. All kinds of chaos broke loose last weekend during a wild Week 2, which included College Station, where Appalachian State surprisingly took the top spot in the Aggies.

Saturday’s play should suffice, and below we’ve provided a handy audience guide to help you navigate all the action. Eastern all the time.

best game

No. 6 Oklahoma in Nebraska – Afternoon on Fox fuboTV (Try it for free): On Sunday, Giants will lead the Cornhuskers out of the tunnel and out of the Scott Frost era after former Cornhuskers quarterback was fired. He’ll see old Big 12 rival Oklahoma on the other side, and there’s no doubt that a win at one of the most consistent events in the past decade will ease tensions at Lincoln.

Number 24 at Penn State Auburn – 3:30 p.m. on CBS cbsssports.com, cbs sports app (free), It’s an important game for an Auburn team that not only struggled against San Jose State last weekend but Brian Horsin, a coach who nearly ran away in February. This could be a turning point for the direction of the program against a Nittany Lions team that would love to make a big statement in the SEC country.

No. 12 at BYU No. 25 Oregon – 3:30 p.m. on Fox fuboTV (Try it for free): The college football world seemingly shut down the Ducks after being smoked by Georgia in Week 1, but first-year coach Dan Lanning could have erased that disappointment with a win over a Cougar team that double-sided last week. In the overtime thriller, the boiler was on top. If you haven’t seen Cougars quarterback Jaren Hall spin, check it out.

Number 11 Michigan State in Washington – 7:30 p.m. on ABC fuboTV (Try it for free): The Huskies lead the Pac-12 in passing despite their victory over Pittsburgh in the Peach Bowl and the Spartans’ pass defense was its Achilles heel last year. We will learn a lot about both the teams after what should be the fun atmosphere inside Husky Stadium.

No. 13 Miami No. 24 on Texas A&M – ESPN at 9 p.m. fuboTV (Try it for free): The game was already dripping with intrigue due to the Aggies’ frustration after losing to Appalachian State last week, and a statement could have been made by storm with a win in SEC country. Coach Jimbo Fischer has reportedly made a quarterback change from Haynes King to Max Johnson, which piques interest even more.
