Deepak Dubey, Mumbai: In the country’s financial capital Mumbai, the cases of corona are increasing, in such a situation now local people are also coming forward to help the people. In the time of this disaster, common people have come together to serve the people by collecting money according to their own. Jeevjyot Drugs Bank and Tardeo Sarvajanik Ganpati Mandal, located in Mumbai’s Tardeo area, have joined hands together to create a 100-bed Quarantine Center to help people in times of deep crisis.
People will be treated for free in this quarantine center and will not have to spend a rupee. These people have arranged food for them as well. Social worker Siddhesh Mandgaonkar told that when we saw that there is a shortage of space in all the hospitals and quarantine centers presently, after which we took BMC permission and converted BMC School located in Tardeo area into Quarantine Center. .
Currently, 100 beds have been arranged here. 4 to 5 beds have been installed in each room so that the distance between two patients is maintained. Also, separate rooms have been made for women and men.
CCTV cameras and a team of doctors have been deployed in this quarantine center to take care of the people. Staff are appointed for each room. With this, arrangements have also been made for the sanitation workers to stay in the same school so that their families do not face any problem due to them. The person or woman coming to it will always be given hot water for drinking, hot water for bathing, breakfast, lunch and dinner for free.
Patients will be entertained
The most different thing about this Quarantine Center is that there is a music system, sit-and-play arrangement for the entertainment of the people here. Siddhesh says that everyone who comes here is already in worry, trying to lighten his mind by doing such entertainment.
There is also a system of oxygen
In the meantime, if a patient’s health worsens, then oxygen has also been arranged in every room so that oxygen can be provided immediately. Along with this, 2 ambulances with oxygen have also been deployed outside the Quarantine Center for 24 hours so that one does not have trouble if one needs to shift.
There is also a bed for policemen
There was not a single quarantine center in Tardeo area, due to which people here were taken to other areas. For this reason, this initiative was taken and a special feature of this Quarantine Center is that 20 beds have been kept here for the people of Mumbai Police, so that they can also be kept here when needed.
The one who will get the gift
Jeevanjyot Drugs Bank founder Madhuben Vora said that many people have been unemployed since the lockdown (since 2020). His organization is providing medicines and food daily to thousands of people for free. In this quarantine center, it will also provide free medicines and food to the people, along with a gift of 1500 rupees to the patient who returns home after recovering, this institution will give that patient on their behalf.
