Despite the fact that the romance of Kelly Severide and Stella Kidd is the favorite of the viewers of Chicago Fire, some fans say that the most recent stories have begun to undermine the many killings of the characters.

Since Chicago Fire began, viewers have seen many stories in which individual characters are at risk. Firehouse 51 is not the best place to start a romantic relationship, as evidenced by the number of members who have suffered in the past. Unfortunately, One Chicago no longer seems to have ideas for a common theme, as the drama repeated the only well-worn path in the case of Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo): fake death.
Kelly Severide and Stella Kidd finally got married in the season 10 finale of Chicago Fire. But instead of leaving that and cultivating their love, NBC went with a dramatic cliffhanger in which the newlyweds were intrigued by their wedding. During the hiatus, the fate of Severide and Kidd remained in limbo, but the matter was quickly resolved in the first episode of the eleventh series.
A little later, in the same episode, the same trick was used again, which ended up shocking the viewers. After a terrible honeymoon, Kidd and Severide, the rest supporting the fire station 51, returned to work and quickly returned to normality. This seems logical, given the strength of character and dedication of both men to their work.

NBC explored other aspects of their relationship, including why Kidd and Severide still can’t have children, until the eleventh season of Chicago Fire, which again ended with the possible death of Truck 81’s agent after a botched rescue. As in his wedding, Kidd went well, but had to undergo surgery and be put through a brace. Firefighting is a dangerous job, and Kidd’s final brush with death is believable.
However, Chicago Fire can’t give him the same experience as Severide just so he can study for the state. Here he lowers the stakes, so that the bystanders are numb at the thought of unknowingly knocking or rushing to the hospital. In the end, this story seems to repeat itself to save Severide and Kidd from the breakup that many other couples went through during Firehouse 51.
Since the most important thing is the love of Firehouse 51, there are slim chances of the company breaking up, but that they cannot go through the trials and tribulations. However, in the end, the NBC drama tries to show the death of characters and even seems to tire many fans.
