All people above 18 years of age can get the Corona vaccine applied in this phase. For this, all people have to register first. For this, the process of registration has started from 4 pm on 28 April. But since May 1, since yesterday, many states are facing a crisis on the vaccination of 18+ people.
In fact, many states have raised the issue of vaccination of 18+ people since yesterday citing lack of vaccine. It includes Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Odisha, Jammu Kashmir and Bihar among many other states.
In this series, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today said that people of Delhi 18+ will have to wait for corona vaccination right now. Arvind Kejriwal said that we do not have vaccine yet. We will give information when the vaccine arrives. They said that the vaccine has not reached us yet. Kejriwal has appealed to the people living in Delhi not to line up at the vaccination centers from tomorrow itself. No additional vaccine has come to Delhi yet.
At the same time, he said that we have got the assurance that the first dose of 3 lakh kovishields will be delivered. Kejriwal said that everyone will be vaccinated, but they too have to cooperate with the government. Once the crowd gathers, law and order problems may arise. He informed that the consignment of Kovishield and Kovaxin is going to be delivered to Delhi soon. As soon as the vaccine is available, vaccinations will be started for people above 18 years of age.
Let us tell you that the central government had announced to start vaccination for people above the age of 18 from May 1, but now it does not seem that it will be implemented simultaneously in the whole country.
