Corona’s havoc continues, BCCI makes big statement on T20 World Cup

The T20 World Cup is to be held in the country this year as well, but due to the speed of Corona virus, there are also clouds of crisis on the event.

Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been retained as the venue for the BCCI T20 World Cup. This has been confirmed by a top BCCI official.

BCCI general manager of sports development Dheeraj Malhotra said in an interview to the BBC, “Its (venue) will be the UAE.

We hope that it will be organized by the BCCI. So this tournament will be here and it will be done by BCCI.

The T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held in India in October-November. But the second wave of Corona is going on in the country at the moment and 3.5 lakh cases are coming from the last few days and about 3000 people are dying.

If the situation does not improve, this will be the first time that India will host an international tournament or series outside the country.

Malhotra said, “I have just been named one of the directors of the tournament, so I am doing everything to make sure it happens (in India). We are thinking about the general scenario and the worst situation Are, so right now we are talking to the ICC. “
